Lesson on hope

These past few days, I’d witnessed the true beauty of hope. Finally understanding the real meaning of hope. Hope - believing that God will give us a chance to live a better tomorrow.

This lady, trying so hard to fight for her life, hopes that she can see her son again. God didn’t answer her hope.

As for us outsiders, we are hoping that God will bless her with full recovery. God answered our hopes. Our hopes for a miracle to happen to her.

God will not answer our hopes all the time but I believe everything is preplanned. Hope is what gives us something to look forward in life.

Lesson on selfishness

I vow to be with you, through sickness or health, thick or thin, poor or rich. Typical vows during a wedding.

The real question is - Would you? Would I? Would we?

This lady, no relatives no nothing, is left with you. She lost her closest relative, her son. Put anyone in her position, she would definately wish her husband will be right next to her now. Eventhough she is semi concious and her memory is completely wiped out, I believe she can feel your presence.

So how could you abandon her? How could you just visit her few minutes once a day? Human’s selfishness disgusts me. Your selfishness disgusts me.

I pray for you, deep down from my heart. You truly taught me the true meaning of hope that I will remember forever.
